In the next installment of our Social Media Tips for Roofers video series, we’re going to cover a specific type of content, namely pictures and video.

As the digital environment becomes more and more visual, the social media environment follows suit. Pictures and video have been proven to generate far more shares, clicks and comments, than simple text posts and links.

Use your brand logo as a watermark on any imaging and video that you create, and always give credit to the authors of pictures and videos you share.

Keep an eye on how your audiences are interacting with your images and videos.

If you have a particular type of content that always does well on your social channel- like trade articles, pictures of roofing projects, or testimonial videos – do more of those and maybe less of another type that isn’t performing so well.

Don’t forget to adjust your social media calendar and content plan to reflect any of those changes you make.
