IKO’s granule facility ships our gold standard to each and every last one of our plants. This is what our company uses to determine the color that goes onto all of our shingles in all of our plants. To make sure that all of our shingle colors and the size of our granules match from plant to plant, we take a bit of our sample, lay it, just comparing our gold standard sample to what we get shipped in on our rev cars. Now, what we’re checking for is that the size of our granules and the color are the same, and we compare all of our shingle colors that we receive for every shingle in the plant. And everything here always looks good.
Aren’t they beautiful? Wouldn’t this look good on your home?

The first step in selecting the right shingle is to pick a color that harmonizes with exterior elements, such as siding and trim. Whether you want your new roof to blend in or stand out among your home’s surroundings, IKO has a wide array of color options. Next, narrow your choices down to the actual type of shingle that best suits your climate and the architectural style of your home.
