Leading Edge
IKO's Leading Edge starter strips are fast, easy and convenient to apply. Leading Edge has a sealant strip already in place, which allows for a tight seal at the bottom of the first course of shingles. At the rakes, they provide a straight edge to trim the overlying courses and help seal the shingle ends to prevent wind damage.

Roof-Fast 95 Base
This product consists of an inorganic, durable, reinforcing mat of non-woven glass fibers that has been coated and permeated with Modiflex SBS bitumen to a thickness of approximately 2.0 mm (79 mils). A thin micro-perforated poly-film covers the top surface. The back surfacing is a silicone treated film, which is easily removed. The product can then be placed in flame-sensitive areas, with little trouble, as it is self-adhesive.

Roof-Fast Base MA is constructed using an inorganic reinforcing mat of durable, high strength non-woven glass fibers, which is coated and impregnated with SBS modified bitumen. The surface is covered with a thin poly-film, while the underside is sanded to prevent sticking in the roll. Roof-Fast Base MA can only be used as the base sheet in a Roof-Fast system.
