Nima Ebrahim, the Plant Superintendent who has been with IKO since 2006 explains that they run four separate production lines at the facility and produce over 150 different products including sand and film covered base-sheets, granulated cap-sheets, and various specialty products. The plant ships over three-and-a-half million items each annually.

Nima says that the plant’s strive for safety and quality, in combination with their extensive knowledge of the commercial roofing industry allows them to provide customers with top quality products and exceptional service, both before and after the sale.

In this video, employees from IKO’s Commercial Manufacturing Plant discuss the team effort involved in manufacturing commercial roofing products at their facility.

Josh Cordeiro, the plant’s Operations Manager who has been with IKO since 1990 explains that communication, problem-solving and attention to detail efforts are all part of the team’s effort to make sure each product is the best it can be. Josh explains that IKO’s commercial products are used in various applications including roofing, building envelope and waterproofing.

They strive to offer the customer and contractor with everything that they’ll need to complete a commercial roof. Josh emphasizes IKO’s focus on quality and how there is always something new in the pipeline to push you and drive you.

John Jazokas, the plant’s Quality Assurance Manager who has been with IKO since 1989 describes how the people at IKO Commercial are there to be the eyes and ears of the customer.
To ensure that each customer receives exactly what they expect from a product, IKO’s team inspects for quality by touching, feeling and measuring the product.

Aaron Hatch, IKO’s Commercial Sales Manager who has been at IKO since 2005 talks about how IKO’s end customer is looking for confidence in:

  • Specifying IKO from the design side.
  • Installing a high-quality product on site.
  • In support from IKO; before, during and after the sale.
