IKO Modiflex MP-HD-FS-Base Fully Adhered Base Sheet is constructed using a tough composite reinforcement of non-woven polyester strengthened with a glass fiber scrim in both machine and cross directions. The Modiflex MP-HD-FS-Base mat is coated top and bottom with select SBS polymers and premium quality asphalt. The top surface of the product is covered with a thin micro-perforated film, which disappears upon heat welding, while the underside is sanded to allow installation via mopping asphalt or an IKO-approved cold process adhesive. Modiflex MP-HD-FS-Base can be used as the “lay-flat” base sheet in a layered membrane construction system.
