High-Definition Color Blends

IKO’s exclusive, advanced color-blending technology has created four high-definition color blends, all inspired by the hues of natural stone. This process produces a high level of consistency from batch to batch and plant to plant.

Royal Estate will keep its pristine good looks over time, thanks to special granules IKO embeds to help inhibit the discoloration that blue-green algae growth can cause and to fend off potentially damaging UV rays.

IKO Royal Estate comes packaged 64 shingles to a square, and each bundle yields 33 1/3 square feet. That means three bundles will give you exactly 100 square feet of coverage. Some competitors’ comparable product falls short of a true square. With Royal Estate, you won’t have to order more material than you need to make up the shortfall. Sparing that unnecessary waste can really save you time and money over the course of a project.

IKO Royal Estate shingles go down fast and easy, yet effectively resist wind, weather and even impact.

These shingles are tough to their solid core. IKO coats its fiberglass mat with weathering asphalt for strength, durability and flexibility to help protect against high winds, heavy snow, weather extremes and water infiltration from wind-driven rain. It also allows Royal Estate shingles to cushion impact, achieving a Class 3 Impact Resistance rating.*

Strips of IKO’s proprietary FastLock sealant along the shingles’ bottom edge become extra tacky when activated by the sun’s radiant heat. This creates an even stronger bond that helps ensure maximum protection against wind uplift and blow-off even in extreme cold temperatures. (Note that the limited wind resistance warranty requires that shingles be sealed at the time of installation.) Fast, easy installation lets crews move on sooner to the next project, boosting your bottom line.
