Discover Why IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles Are So Popular

Our high-quality roofing shingles provide superior weather protection and boost the curb appeal of homes throughout the United States and Canada. IKO Cambridge architectural shingles can enhance any home’s style, from traditional to modern, rustic to urban. Their dimensional profile and deep shadow bands evoke the upscale  appearance of natural wood shakes, creating a high-end designer look at an affordable cost.

The heavy weight of IKO Cambridge shingles is engineered to withstand the elements for years, making them one of the most durable shingles you can buy.

Thanks to our exclusive, advanced color blending technology, IKO Cambridge architectural roofing shingles are available in a full range of color blends (including Cool Colors for select markets). This is just one great reason why IKO Cambridge remains among our most popular shingles with homeowners and contractors alike.

Another is that these shingles come in IKO’s special “Advantage” size which is larger than many competitors’ comparable product. This means roofers can install these shingles faster and their larger-than-average exposure creates greater visual interest, giving your home a spectacular designer look.

IKO Cambridge Color Options

Your home will blend beautifully into its natural surroundings when you choose from among our most extensive palette of color blends.

Please make your final color selection from several full size shingles and view a sample of the product installed on a home. Not all colors are available in all markets. Blue granules may fade after extensive exposure to the sun’s ultraviolet rays.

1. Blow-off Protection

Printed nail line guides installers to position and fasten the shingles correctly, to help keep them on the roof and prevent them from blowing off in high wind.

2. Built-In Algae Resistance

We embed special algae-resistant granules into our shingles to help inhibit the growth of blue-green algae that can cause unattractive black stains, streaks and discoloration.

3. The Only Time It’s Good to be Tacky

You want your new shingles to stay put. If the wind lifts them up, water can sneak in underneath and may cause a leaky roof. Our shingles have IKO Fastlock™ sealant strips along their bottom edges. When activated by the sun’s heat, these strips get extra-tacky and create a strong bond to ensure maximum protection against wind uplift, blow-off and water penetration.

4. This Shingle’s Core Strength Is Its Fiberglass Mat

Our fiberglass mat is coated top and bottom with weathering asphalt, then surfaced with colored granules. It’s heavy-duty for exceptional durability and structural integrity.

We Never Take Quality for Granted. And Neither Should You.

IKO Cambridge roofing shingles are built heavy-duty. You can see and feel the difference. Touch one. Feel its weight. Check that the cut is precise.

The modern, laminated two-piece design of IKO Cambridge shingles provides depth and dimension. By staggering the size and position of the shingle’s “dragon’s teeth”, we’re able to create a random, varied pattern that emulates the rich textured appearance of genuine wood shakes. Deep shadow bands add eye-popping contrast.

Roofing shingles alone are usually not enough to protect your home.

IKO has developed a superior multi-layered roofing system that incorporates our industry-leading products –  all designed to help protect the roof deck, eaves and vulnerable roof areas against water penetration.

Your new roof is a big investment you’ll be counting on to protect your home and family for years to come. There’s no room for compromise.

So choose IKO PRO4 Roofing Components and rest easy knowing that the quality of your new roof will be as uncompromising as you are.

These IKO PRO4 Roofing Components are specifically designed to work best with IKO Cambridge shingles.

RECOMMENDED: IKO Stormshield Ice & Water Protector, IKO Stormtite underlayment, IKO Leading Edge Plus starter strips, IKO Hip and Ridge, IKO Hip & Ridge 12 or IKO Hip & Ridge Plus ridge cap shingles.

In addition to the IKO PRO4 Roofing Components recommended for use with IKO Cambridge shingles, we also carry a comprehensive line of accessory products to support the installation of almost any roofing project.
